Sina Tesfu
Diversity & Inclusion Officer
My name is Sina Tesfu, your diversity and inclusion officer for this academic year, and I am a final year Law LLB undergrad student.
As your diversity and inclusion officer, I remain steadfast and committed to creating an environment where everyone can feel valued. Hence, I will ensure inclusion remains at the heart of all society activities.
I became passionate about diversity and inclusion through undertaking many volunteering projects that aim to enhance equality and opportunities for marginalised and minority groups such as women, homeless people and refugees.
I would love to eventually specialise in the practice area of environment, social and governance (ESG) such as environmental law or human rights and business. Although, I am open to other areas of law.
I’m so excited to undertake this very important role and look forward to working with the rest of the committee and the society’s members. I am friendly and approachable – always feel free to contact me if you have any concerns, ideas or suggestions!
