History
The Kent Student Law Society (KSLS) was established in 2005 after its demise the previous year. A group of dedicated students came together and formed an interim committee open to all. From that the committee of 2005-2006 were elected. Now entering its fifth committee, the Society has seen a range of successes which it continues to build upon, from the Law Fair in October to the Annual Dinner in January.
Purpose
The Kent Student Law Society is the only student society at Kent who cater for students who wish to pursue a career in Law as a solicitor, or who are as of yet undecided which career path (be it lawyer or otherwise) they wish to take. Our main aim therefore is to provide every Member with all the information they might need to make a well balanced career decision and the support to make it happen.
